Rugby World Cup at Jameson’s 2.00 a.m. Sunday morning
England vs. South Africa
(Please come early for good view)

Well obviously this weekend Jameson's The Irish Pub the home of the Pattaya Panthers and Panties Rugby Club will be concentrating on The Final of the Rugby World Cup. The kick off is actually 2.00 a.m. 21st October 2007 Thai time, but if you look at our sports schedule there is plenty to keep you entertained before the big game, as if the anticipation is not enough. Of course some of our friends like Club Resident Jim Howard are lucky enough to actually be there in France for the big game. But we reckon if you cannot be there the next best thing is to be in Jameson's enjoying the game and the atmosphere with the good folk of Jameson's. Obviously this is a huge game so please come early if you wish to find a good seat, with a good view of the twenty screens we have dotted around Jameson's. We will also be taking out some of the tables and chairs to allow more standing room, also remember that the Fat old Landlord Kim Fletcher, is not as young or as fit as he used to be and cannot have more than two lots of people standing on his shoulders before he crumples to the ground.

We will also be open late the following evening for the finale of the Formula One Grand Prix season which reaches it's climax in Brazil with the race starting at 11.00 p.m., there are still 3 possible winners of the Championship, so again these of you who would like prime positions, and would like to sit with Dr. Iain Corness Pattaya's leading journalist, and reporter of all things Formula One please arrive early to avoid disappointment. As you can see from the photograph supplied by an anonymous donor Dr. Iain's book 'Farang' is now Number One in the charts at Thailand's leading book seller Bookazine. If you would like to buy a copy and bring it along with you on Sunday I am sure Iain would find time to sign it for you, if you ask him nicely. See you at the bar, Kim.

Steve in his Jesters shirt

England beat the French at rugby and Stuart Daly has no hesitation in ringing the bell for all the staff to have a drink in celebration. The Landlord hopes that Stuart will yet again be hanging on the bell this week when England face South Africa in the Final which will be shown live on Sunday 2.00 a.m. Sunday morning. That’s two hours after Saturday night midnight, or in other words goes out Saturday night and just keep going

The boys settle down to watch a bit of football before the serious stuff starts

Always make sure you get some dinner down in your stomach before the real drinking starts

Captain Steve Ponter and Landlord Kim Fletcher of Jameson's hand over a plaque of appreciation from the Jesters to Stuart and Moo Young as Stuart and Moo's Building Company contributed one of the Motor Bikes that was won in the Jesters Charity Drive Raffle this year

The newest edition to the Jameson's family

Dear All,

Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the award ceremony to present whatever the
prize is to the winner!!!

After one incredible weekend in Paris, I am headed back there on Friday to attend the
final and I believe that " Les Rosbif " still have one more performance in them and I think that the
score will be England 21 : South Africa 15. Pity that I won't be there to celebrate with you but will
down a ceremonial Pastis on behalf of all rugby supporters at Jamesons!!!

See you all soon ....... " Allez Les Blancs "!!!!!

Chairman

Jimmy
