A Musical Birthday

Another Birthday for the Jameson’s fat Landlord Kim Fletcher fills him full of joy / devastation. Obviously it is always nice to have a birthday, but it only seems like yesterday that I had my 50th Birthday, but to have one’s 51st Birthday so quickly seems a terrible way to be treated. None the less celebrations will take place.
On Saturday night Draught Heineken & Tiger will be served from 4.30 p.m. until close down will be at an amazing 80 baht a pint and 45 baht a half pint. Beer will again be served by the amazingly sexy Heineken/Tiger, Strongbow, & John Smith girls who have kindly agreed to join us for the 2 days of festivities. Also on Saturday is the final of the Tri-Nations series with the game between New Zealand and Australia with the program starting at 1.30 p.m. From 6.00 p.m. onwards there will be free bar snacks until close down.

Paul Hartley enjoys a rare moment at Nova Table with a glass of World of Wines Rose with some of his admires

Nova Table was honored on Friday to have a visit from Stan the Man a regular of Jools Restaurant Sukhumvit Soi 4 and Bill who the Landlord had not seen for 16 years, a great matter was had by all. On the table is Landlord Kim Fletcher, Stan the Man & Bill

Big John and Mike Watkins the ex Wales Rugby Union Captain from a rose between two thorns with the adorable Meaw

Johny Live (look at Johny’s new website at www.johnylivehair.com) cannot beer to look at Jason Payne explains how he has recently had a tree removed from his neck. For those of you who thought Jason had a lot of neck before, he is a changed man since the deforestation of his neck last week, he is no longer the wooden person he used to be

Sunday starts off at 2.00 p.m. with one of our extra special music & magical afternoons organized by Rick Bryant, starting with one of Pop’s Pattaya All Stars acoustic sets which will them alternate with magic shows from Dr. Magic, and some more music from Rick and Harpic themselves (always a much looked forward to classic, the Landlord has already requested a version of Uriah Heep’s the wizard). The evening will close with an electric set from Pop’s Pattaya All Stars which always gets the place rockin’. At 7 o’clock we will all be able to sit back and watch the German Formula One Grand Prix with Dr. Iain. During Sunday our marketing girls will again be in attendance, this time selling canned John Smith at 140 baht a can and canned Newcastle Brown at 140 baht a can. But dare I say best of all good old “World of Wines” will be serving the legendary Jameson’s House Wine at 120 baht a large glass or 600 baht for a whole bottle all day Sunday. How fortunate Shelley Quirke comes back on this Friday.

Others that have threaten to show their faces over the weekend are Thailand’s legendary hairdresser Johny Live who has a new website at www.johnylivehair.com. Jason, Nui & Leo Payne, Ron, Weaw & James Keeley, Rich Wibrow, Neil & Pen Sandilands (it is Neil’s Birthday next week on Saturday 28th). Simon Edmonds (whose birthday it is on Monday 21st), Lars Fieste, Graham MacDonald, George & Budgie, Andy McTighe & family, Terry Schofield of no fixed abode, Bob of North Shore, Simon & Debbie, Malcolm Clare, The Root of All Evil, Party Boy Ray Matti with Curly Wurly, Sam Peebles with full entourage including Jimmy, Motorbike Sean, John & Fabio, of course The Part time, Executive, Trainee, Deputy, Assistant, Junior Manager Ian (Princess Di) Harrington, Iain & Som Corness, Eoin & Shelley Quirke, and for the first time in a year Jameson’s Roving Ambassador Mark Stubbs, should be quite a party, of course we all wish the Ritchies, Scuds, & Lisa Lurves could be here, but we may well get visits from Jimmy & Jenny Howard, Peter (Gin & Tonic) Woolston & possibly Big Dave.
But it looks like being a good fun weekend. Regards, Kim, Rony, & Moo.
