As you can see
we have all had a pretty jolly time of it this week, not enough sleep,
and way too much to drink seems to have been the order of the day. I
have left Simon Philbrook's minutes of the meeting
remain unedited for all to read and then leave you with the pictures
to tell their own story.
See you next week, Kim.
Court
Proceedings
Mark Betteridge
- No excuse for not being here. Flight from Singapore too cheap.
Chris Bradshaw - Being in France no excuse.
David Brent - No excuse – in Pattaya and still
didn’t make it.
Harpic Bryant –
Present, gloating, pissed and correct. Well done Harpic. Even drunk
a B52!
Malcolm Clare –
No excuse. No-one’s indispensable
Paul Crouch – No
Excuse. Being in India doesn’t excuse you.
Corin James – No
Excuse. In Pattaya and didn’t attend.
Kim Fletcher – Present,
dishevelled, pissed and correct, albeit late.
Jim Howard – Being
at the final not a good enough excuse.
Debbie Lightley –
Present, emotional, pissed and correct.
Graham Macdonald –
Where the hell were you?
Tom Murphy – No
excuse for being on holiday.
Simon Philbrook –
Present, pissed and correct.
Eoin Quirke – Present,
getting pissed and correct.
Shelley Quirke- Present, very pissed and correct.
Darren Rose – No
excuse. Should have been at the final.
Gethin Thomas –
No excuse – in Pattaya.
Graham Watkins –No
excuse for being in Phuket for the final.
Jacqueline Wright –
No excuse for not attending!
The meeting started
at some time after midday and concluded well into the evening. Some
complete and utter drivel was talked about by everyone present and those
who did not attend were well and truly berated in their absence. I seem
to remember, through my fuzzy hangover, The Fat Landlord
was particularly unkempt and Debbie was especially
wobbly. The whole prize giving process was rather shambolic, with the
entire audience heckling The Fat Landlord at every
slur in his speech, of which there were many and jeering when an absent
prize winner’s name was called out. For those who did attend,
regardless whether they won or not, thoroughly enjoyed the chocolates
so kindly provided by Shelley as prizes and a special
thank you was given to her for her time, effort and chocolates. Well,
I really enjoyed mine and most of everyone else’s! So that is
it and we shall all do the same again in four years time. End
of minutes. By Simon Philbrook.

Greeting to Woody and to you Kim
November 3 is the day we arrive. Expect us for dinner at Jamesons around
6 pm Kim. There will be 20 in my party. That number should expand as
we plunder the resources at TQ.
I will give you details of our other planned dinners and lunches when
I see you on 3 October.
To you Woody, we expect to hit TQ around 9.30 pm that night. I always
seem to miss meeting you but I do get to see Bob and Tom on a regular
basis during our stay.
Looking forward to catching up with you guys.
Cheers
Dennis
