The McTighe's Last Stand

This Saturday will see a mighty booze up for the last weekend of The McTighes living in Pattaya, as they have decide to go back to England and live in somewhere called Cheshire. Over the last couple of years we have all had some right laughs with The McTighes and many good friendships have been formed. The invitation is a general one of come one come all, so on Saturday night pop along to Jameson's and have a convivial drink with Andy and family before they go (although I think we will have a little less of the El Diablo's this weekend). Steve Graham ruled the roost at Nova Table this week on Wednesday and a very fine job he did of it too. It was also nice to see all the usual suspects joining in especially our Stephen Leather expert Sid Silk.
This weekend sees the start of the English Football season, please look at our sports schedule for all the different fixtures, do not forget at Jameson's we can show 7 live sports on our 17 different channels so we can pretty much guarantee to be able to show which ever event it is you wish to see whenever you wish to see it. It is also the end of the British Test Match Cricket season this weekend as well as some more warm up games for the World Cup which starts in early September which we will be showing all 48 games and have the schedule ready for you next week. Till then have a good week and see you at the bar. Kim.

Ian (Lady Di) Harrington taking full advantage of his position of Executive, Junior, Deputy, Assistant Trainee, Head of Vice Manager over the weekend when we had some of the lovely promotion girls in. Sales of Strongbow must of been very strong that night

The Motorbikes for the Jesters Charity Drive raffle have now arrived, and are on display in Jameson's, until the lucky winners are drawn on the Party Night at Jameson's on Saturday 15th September. Tickets are priced at 50 Baht each or 500 Baht for a book of 12. The bikes are all fully insured and taxed etc ready to go so if you are lucky enough to win one of these fabulous bikes you will be able to ride to straight away home with you (that is just in case you have not had too much to drink and therefore would perhaps be prudent to drive it home the next day after the celebrations). For full details of these bikes please look up the auction and raffle sites on the side of the diary. Books of course may be purchased all over Pattaya and at the Cahier desk at Jameson's

Graham (Superman) Watkins and Simon (Quigles) Quigley try to sort out their feelings after the result of the England vs. Wales Rugby game last Saturday. Graham I actually thought took it very well (considering)

Rick the Harpic less, The Font of All knowledge, Simon the Lonely and Terry of No Fixed abode watch the telly in disbelief as England take apart Wales

Jameson's own Racing Car Star James Grunwell flocked by Strongbow girls (Lucky young Devil). Things are going very well for James this year and long may they continue to do so

The truth of the rugby result finally starts to sink in as Joe Grunwell and a delirious Simon Philbrook start to celebrate

This is when Richard Grunwell was faced with his first ever El Diablo. A picture that will be etched on his mind for eternity

A Good bye to Lindsay from Kid

JK, Simon and Terry starting to suffer from El Diablo lag

Simon and Lindsay (Does anybody else notice a trend developing here)

The wonderful Sandilands, Neil, Grant, Mum, and the pretty Kim

Happy Birthday to Speckled Martin

The Knights of Jameson's sit at the long table swapping stories and telling tales

This is what Andy really thinks about Schofield winning the trophy

Dinner in the sports room

The lovely Lola makes her feelings very clear, one of the burdens of being a very pretty girl I suppose is that you have to make it very well known where your feelings lye

The England Rugby supporters in stunned silence. Led by Mickey Price just back from his tour of Europe with Genesis

Lindsay McTighe with Dad Andy McTighe who will be having their leaving party at Jameson's on Saturday 11th August to which all of Andy's friends and compatriots are welcome. It will be very sad to see the McTighe leave the table we have had some jelly good times whilst Andy and his family have been around Shea, Amanda, Kimberly, and Lindsay, but needs must where needs be, and we all hope to see Andy on his travels, as he passes through Asia. But now onwards and upwards for a god booze up on Saturday night. Sitting with the McTighes is that lovable rouge Malcolm Clare "The Root of All Evil"

This is the moment on Saturday night where it all started to go dramatically wrong without filling in all the details, (that would be impossible as alcohol has left terrible memory lapses in the Landlord's old memory banks). But this is photographic evidence of when the Root of All Evil bought Graham and Simon an El Diablo

The Font of All Knowledge to celebrate an England victory on the rugby field thought that this would be a wonderful time to buy a round of El Diablo's for everybody. Just because he is the Font of All Knowledge does not always mean he makes the right decisions!

Terry and Lindsay

Dad Andy and Lindsay

Steve Graham gets the drinks in for the staff, and will have his Cauliflower and Cheese cooked to perfection for evermore

The end of an era The Jameson's Golf T &A Cup is handed over to Terry Schofield of No Fixed abode by Andy McTighe of some abode in Cheshire. This has been a long and hard fought golf competition, going first one way and then the other with many injuries incurred along the way, but at the end off the day Terry came out triumphant

Cheers, see you at the Bar
