Unquenchables
Fantastic
week with the arrival of the Unquenchables
led by Dennis Collard and a visit from Stu,
and the Singapore Golf Boys. The pub was thumping
on Saturday night, right the way through to
Sunday morning when Joe Calzaghe
did his stuff. Well done Richard and your multi-national
gang. (Mind you it took the Landlord three
days to get over it all). Loads of good people around, Eoin
and Shelley, Simon Quigley, a grand arrival by Paul
and Ying Baker, Jimmy Howard, the Landlord's own personnel Doorman
the wonderful Dez, Young Paul, Young Steve, Billy, Peter Mack
and his Library Crew, Graham Macdonald (The Font of All Knowledge),
as you can see The Root of All Evil Malcolm Clare
has arrived in town to the delight of the staff that love quaffing
Port. Deborah Lightley who has only got a month
left before she loses the Lightley tag. Simon
Philbrook, Graham Watkins, Captain Jesters Steve Ponter, Paul
Strachan who through the kindness of the Pattaya
Mail supplied us with the wonderful video on this Diary.
Next week I hope to get him to give me the one from
-5 which is one of the best bits of telly I have ever
seen. Ron, Weaw, and James Keeley of the wonderful
World of Wines WOW. Jason Payne, Bryan Clayton and Family,
Ian Harrington. The return of our resident Boxing
expert Sid Silk with the lovely Sue, The Hash
House Harriers had their weekly meeting as usual led
by Jimmy (Spaghetti Head). Our Football
expert Brian Abbott, Tropical Bert picked up the
Poppy Day appeal money, and sends a big thank you to
all the Jameson's guys and girls that contributed.
Johny Live, Terry Schofield of No Fixed Abode. Rony
Fineman is off on his Hols to Brazil.
One wonders whether Rayl will ever return!

This
weekend we are fortunate to have loads more Rugby
on the T.V's check our rugby schedule on this page, or for a complete
sports report please look up our sports schedule link. The
Christmas Bookings are starting to come in. By looking
at our Christmas menu you can see why. Please
book up with Wanchai, Moo, or the Landlord. Jameson's
do two seatings for Christmas Day, one from 12.00 noon,
till 6.00 p.m. and then 6.00 p.m. till whenever. Sam
Peebles has of course booked the entire sports room for
the two sessions! This allows everybody to have a nice leisurely
time without being kicked out after a couple of hours. Tuesday nights have become really great nights
now that we have as the Special the Roast Chicken Dinner
with all the trimmings plus a starter and a dessert for 195
Baht. This has certainly met with the approval of Young
Steve, who I think now only eats once a week, and that's
on Tuesday. But it was Young Steve that
persuaded me to give you all extra roast potatoes.

Wednesday night was
a good crack round Nova Table with somebody
walking up to the table announcing he was perfect. As all you
rugby fans will know there was only one person that was perfect
and that was John Eales the Australian Rugby Captain.
Well John Eales nickname used to be Nobody
because Nobody is Perfect. Well now we have
a new Nobody. So sat round Nova Table
on Wednesday night was Nobody...................
with Dez, Just Frank, Judi, the Landlord and Big Mike.
There is a picture of Nobody on this page if
you do not think he is perfect, answers on a postcard please
to the usual address!
Sadly Wednesday night also saw the departure
of Dennis and all the Unquenchables, who I
hope had a good tour, again look at the pictures, and see what
you think. Tony also left but not before he
had bought us all a drink to remember him by. But then Big
Dave Beckett walked through the door, and everybody
had to make way as he got to his seat. Have a good week everybody,
Kim, Rony and Moo.

The Unquenchables last Huzzah
Kim a couple
of photo’s for the diary.
A few of your regulars were Flight Winners!!
And Team Jameson’s were, naturally, the Wooden Spooners.
Left to right. Jimmy O’Neil, Trent Frost, Tom McCormack,
and, of course, Bryan.
They picked up a quality tennis racket each along with some
balls and the famous pig inside pigs trophies.
Very apt for
one of the team members!
