Happy
Birthday Jimmy Howard
Marvelous
Birthday weekend for Jimmy Howard
last weekend. Could not of been better, huge great booze up
on Friday night at Jameson's, where bottles
of gin were bought wholesale! A game of Rugby at Horseshoe
Point (one of the best sporting facilities in South
East Asia). Which was won by the last try of the game
by theJimmy
HowardRhino's
over the Pattaya Panthers (Much to
the Panthers Dismay). Followed by a night on
the town, and a Sunday to relax and recuperate.
As you can see from the photos people had flown in from all
over the world to play and were privileged and very happy to
do so. Unfortunately due to a selection era the size of the
England Cricket teams The Big Fat Landlord
did not actually get a game, as he was not picked in the starting
15 (as he was hiding behind Simon Philbrook, and Mottman
Colin Powell, with Dez Halls as security)
then two minutes into the game he pulled a muscle reaching for
a beer so that was the end of that. Far too many people arrived
to mention all, and too much booze was drunk for clear memories,
but through the haze of alcohol and fear, some friendly faces
were Joe and Superstar Racing Driver James Grunwell,
John Pritchard, Vince Swift, Graham MacDonald, Simon and Debbie
Philbrook (Marriage is good for Debbie
she looked stunning), Eoin and Shelley Quirke, Mitch
Howard, Snelley, Colin Hastings, Mick Turner, Paul Crouch, Ralph,
Ian Brydon, Mike and Meow Watkins (Mike
playing rugby for the first time in 10 years), Richard
and Maggie Waller (a fair old amount of the
World of Wines wine was drunk over the weekend to everybody
pleasure), John, Tai and Ice Kennedy, Richard and Ali
Greening (The Defense), Rick ,Harpic, Paige, and Abbi Bryant,
Jason Nui, and Leo Payne, Ron, Weaw and James Keeley, Graham
Watkins, Simon Quigley, Colin Hastings.
This weeks

Then a momentous event on
Wednesday, Jameson's will be celebrating
its 4th Anniversary. Doesn't time fly when
you are having fun. Cheese and Pickles with some more bar snacks
is the order of the day. Starting at 6.00 p.m.
If you are driving down
to Jameson's do not forget there is plenty
of car parking space in the Nova Park car park
for Jameson's customers. But cast a glance
over to where is old car park used to be and you can literally
day by day see the new Nova Park Hotel growing
up to the sky, it looks fabulous, there will be a huge car park
within the hotel for Jameson's customers. Here
are a couple of artist's impressions of The Nova Park
Hotel to give you a general idea of what's going on.
It is always fun to be in on the ground level so to speak.
Pictures of the new Nova Park Hotel (on the old Jameson's
Car Park). Today as it heads to the sky. We will give you regular
updates as to its progress
It's always sad to see people
leaving from long holidays as it is always delightful to get
people coming back, this week we seem to have lost more than
our fair share of really nice people including Bob,
Young Johnnie, Big Mark, and of course my growling
side kicks Dez Halls. We do of course welcome
back this week Partyboy Ray Matti, who is flying
in this week especially to be at the Jameson's 4th Anniversary
Party (if you believe that you will believe anything).
Dez Halls has actually been working very hard
setting up friends of Jameson's Face Book,
more of this as the computer illiterate Landlord Kim
Fletcher learns of it. Colin Powell
helped the Landlord to log on, but then that
all became a bit confused and Ron Keeley had
to be called in to sort it all out, but I'm sure by next week,
I'll be able to give you all the details.
Love and regards as ever to Lisa Lurve, American Paul,
Niel and Alice Poulsen, Tony and Iris Ritchie, Linus, Sam Peebles,
Geoff Evans, and Dave Foden. Steve and his little box of hooped players
seemed to have got their act together a little bit last weekend
and took the sting out of Watford. It's very
important for the Landlord Kim Fletcher's nerves
that they stay in the automatic promotion places. I worked it
out on Sunday that relegation is extremely
unlikely now. Casino Steel and Honest John Plain will also
be making starring appearances alongside their Geordie
Fan Club at Jameson's 4th Anniversary, fans of Ian
hunter and the boys will be delighted to hear.
Broken Hills Red Wine our House Wine from World
of Wines is usually the order of the day. That's it
for this week, Cheers Kim.
“And this is a great
link to the Ian Hunter site set up by Colin Powell
our very own Mottman between Mott the Dog & Ian Hunter
over an Ozzy Osbourne review.”

One of the internationally famous Jameson's Boat Trips organized
and run by Jameson's General Manager Wanchai, Wanchai is the
man to contact if you want to organize a boat trip in Pattaya,
there quite simply is nobody better to set sail with, well I
think the photos prove that
Then it's all back to Jameson's to cook and eat what you caught
Jay-Jay looks on
No fresher fish in the world, delicious it was too. All cooked
free of charge at Jameson's when you turn home victorious
