Some of the best people from Nova
Table, have sloped off for a quick break Des
Hall, my right hand for the last couple months has
gone back to Blighty for a bit, but whoaw betide
anybody that tries to sit in his seat whilst he is away. The
magnificent World of Wines folk Richard
and Maggie Waller have gone off for a quick reality
check, but Ron Keeley is at the helm of World
of Wine. If anybody wants a glass, bottle or case of
wine all you have to do is click on the slide bar at the side
of the page and you can make your selection on line, and get
it delivered to your door. (NO not you Sandilands).
But we also
have a lot of people back to keep Pagey amused
Geordie Derek, and Scottish Derek both walked
in on the same night and created an instant party. Paul
Dobbs is back and in the swing of it all. Posh
Peter Woolston played us a visit showing off his wonderful
new gadgets. Ian Harrington (Lady Di) would
indeed be jealous. Graham MacDonald, Simon and Debbie
Philbrook all from MBMG, Paul Strachan of Pattaya Mail TV. The
Root of All Evil is the undisputed leader of Nova
Table even when he is adapting his alter ego Malcolm
Clare. Young Steve leads the
Youth Policy well and keeps everything ship shape.

This
weekend sees many important Football games, in
both the Premiership and the Championship (Middleborough
shirts will again be worn on Sunday when we will
be show both the Formula One Grand Prix at 7.00 p.m.
and the Arsenal vs. Middleborough game at 8 .00 p.m.).
Lets hope that Reading are playing Middleborough
next year in the Premiership!
We are all looking forward to next week when The Pattaya
Panthers take over Horseshoe Point for
the Chris Kays Memorial Pattaya Tens Rugby Tournament.
Malcolm and Blowfly in charge of all administration.
Before that this weekend we have Soft Ball, Fast Cricket,
and knockabout Football at Horseshoe
Point from 4.00 p.m. onwards organized by the wonderful
Bryant's, Rick and Harpic. I bumped into Jake
Bryant during the week, what a pleasant young man he
has turned into. Alarmingly good looking as well.
The pictures from my weekly walks, as you will notice are slightly
lacking this week, but you do understand that wandering around
the streets with a camera is not the wisest of actions. Next week
I will start a series of all the different approach routes to
Jameson's. Enough from me, enjoy your week, Kim,
Rony, and Moo.

turn to the Jesters Care4Kids Charity Drive 2009
The Jesters Care4Kids Charity
Drive is coming up very quickly. Let me just remind you of the
dates for the main events on Sunday 13th September 2009 is the
Jesters Care4Kids Charity Fair at the Diana Driving Range and
Resort, which this year looks like it is going to be even bigger
and better this year than last (if that is possible). Kevin Mitch
once again stepping into the breach, and doing all the organization
in his usual brilliant military precision style. Now whilst talking
about the Fair can I also remind everybody that Jameson's amongst
other things, has a Used Book Stall at the Fair run by Judi McNamara.
The Used Book Stall is always great fun and also raises a nice
lot of money for the kids. It is simple logic. (A) You kindly
donate to us all your old used books, which can be dropped off
at Jameson's or TQ any time, the earlier the better so we can
get them sorted. (B) You come to the Fair, and then buy a lot
of good books at a cheap price, come early for the best selection.
(C) We give all the money we raise to Kevin who hands it on to
the Care4Kids Charity Drive. Easy.
The next event after the Fair is the Jesters Care4Kids Charity
Party Night at Jameson's on Saturday 19th September 2009 which
will feature Paul Jackson as our compeer, Music from Mike Gerrard,
Rick and Harpic Bryant, and to bring us all to a Rockin' close
Pop's Pattaya All Stars and assorted guests. On that night there
will also be the arrival of Eric and Robert from their marathon
Charity Bike Ride always an amazing feat of endurance, the climax
to the Raffle and the fantastic Jesters Care4Kids Charity Auction.
The Auction Site is up and running, with lots of good things up
there already, all you have to do is click on the link on the
left hand side of this page and you will be whisked into Ron Keeley
of World of Wine Auction Site, there is plenty to look at and
you might even fancy putting a bid in yourself. Plenty already
have.
There are plenty of ways of helping the Jesters Care4Kids Charity
Drive 2009, Obviously by coming to the Fair, and the Party Night,
making bids on the Auction Site, buying Raffle Tickets, buying
T-Shirts, taking a Bumper Sticker for your car, taking and reading
one of our brochures and showing them to other people (all available
at Jameson's or TQ). If you would like to know some more right
now please click on the link on the right hand side of the page
for the Jesters Care4Kids and you will go on a journey to see
all about us the website. It is regularly updated and is run by
our Chairman, Lewis (Woody) Underwood, and our Webmaster David
Smith, a very good Charity, run by some wonderful people, to help
those less fortunate than others.
