Kim Fletcher's famous weekly pub diaries at Jameson's started with the first publication Wednesday, January 26th, 2005.  Each Thursday night, local time, a new diary will be uploaded for your viewing pleasure.

Shaun and Bryan have a quick chat at the bar about last Saturday's CUEL Grand Golf Classic, the talk obviously went very well except that neither of them remembered to take hats with them, only one of them managed to get on the same side as Birmingham Jimmy, so one of them came in the first place team and one of them came in the last place team. As usual the Tournament was magnificently organized by Steve Hovi. Word is that the TQ Classic the previous day was marvelous too. Sitting in the background is Ron Keeley from World of Wines

Nova Table starts to warm up with the likes of Dez, Shaun and Bryan, Fat Landlord Kim Fletcher, and B.C.C.T. types Greg Watkins and Graham MacDonald (The Font of All Knowledge)

Happiness at Jameson's

Oh harping back to the packed house at Jameson's last Sunday, a fact I am very fond of doing. Don't forget we have 13 ordinary screens, three 42'' plasma screens and Wanchai's enormous 100''x 100'' screen to pack round so that's lot of folk well done Iain. Plus the fact that for an hour before the rain I have never seen such a heavy rain storm accompanied by thunder and lighting. The Landlord was hiding under the table.
Some people are off at work whilst others are off on holiday. Rony Fineman is off to the Maldives, with his family and deserves a holiday after this week starting several new hotels, and condominiums, entertaining guests at his Movie Production Premiere, but he's only away for 5 days and so will be back before this is printed to get his teeth into a new project as long as he does not take up ballooning, I'll keep my mouth shut. Ray and Curly Wurly are away. Ray went to the Monaco Grand Prix this weekend, and ended up having to watch the China Grand Prix on the telly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Root is still away in darkest Africa no doubt building up a thirst again. Nice to hear from Mottman Colin Powell who is chomping on the bit to get here as no doubt so are Big Dave Beckett and Iris and Tony Ritchie. Always good to see Scottish Derek, the wonderful Greg Watkins, and Gregarious Greg, Dave, Stuart and Moo, Anthony, and the Big Man himself rugby fan extraordinaire Big John, somehow both Johny Live and Ian (Lady Di) Harrington, managed to stay out of the photos, Paul and Keaw Strachan, who have mostly hidden themselves away since their fantastic wedding party. Talking of parties, Garfield sounds like he has a stormer coming up.

Peter Mack has completely taken over the library area in the last week and will do so for a further week, great for everybody and a nicer bunch of people you could not wish to meet.
For those of you who like their Rock 'n' Roll Casino Steel and Honest John will be back in November/December to play some gigs more of this as Ilearn about it, and to see some of the finest Rock 'n' Roll ever played all you have to do is go on www.youtube.com and punch in Nutz/Rage and watch the two first songs that appear. Our friends Nutz should of been Household names in any decent Rock 'n' Roll Household.

Ron of World of Wine, put that bass guitar down it is not yours

The safest place in the bar to sleep is.............................

Now here is a collection of photos for you Saturday night saw many celebrations. The most important of which was the 21st Birthday of Jake Bryant, which he celebrated with two cakes, friends and family, plus a whole load of San Miguel. To make things even better, it was the day of the away game for the Pattaya City Football team, against Bangkok's Bull's Head. Before the game both teams had played three and won three. Well now after Pattaya City won 2-3, Pattaya City are the only team in the league to have a 100% record. Unbelievably the winning goal was scored by Jake Bryant when he collected the ball 30 yards out from the goal swiveled and shoot sending the ball into the top left hand corner of the goal. As you can see a good time was had by all and sundry

Harpic may look as if she is being a bit unsociable here but actually she was texting Lisa on the importance of keeping your salad fresh. It was nice to have constant communication between Lisa and the gang on Saturday night

The lovely Deborah Lightley

Bryan Clayton gets the drinks in for the staff on behalf of Jay Jay's Birthday, and very appreciative everybody was too, especially Dave as you can tell

Happiness at Jameson's

As far as watching Football in the bar we had a bit of a set back last week, as you can see the Telly, we keep specially for the Middlesborough games and the Reading games has gone into mourning. The less said about the Middlesborough game the better, and as for Reading! Thank goodness we were only played Preston North End. Thank goodness we weren't playing the whole of Preston not just the North end Bit
