New
Diaries are uploaded around midnight on Thursday, local time,
here in Pattaya by the Landlord Kim Fletcher.
Diary No. 254 Week of 15th February
2010 - 21st February 2010 Updated 25th February 2010
Plenty
of sport on the telly again this weekend, Golf, Cricket,
Premiership Football, and of course the return of the
Six Nations Rugbytournament,
there are two games for our delectation on Saturday night,
but we will not be showing the France vs. Wales
game on Friday night due to it being way past
the Landlord's bedtime and Friday
is a ridiculous day to play rugby anyway. F.C Nova Football team are again in the field
again on Saturday and will be meeting at 12.30
p.m. in the Jameson's bar, we are still
a couple of players short of being at full strength, so any likely
lad who fancies a bit of a kick about please let us know.
Parting is such sweet sorrow, and I was
sad to see my little Slave Girl Iris taken
from me this week as she had proved such a jolly good Umpire's
Helper during the Cricket, but no
doubt our paths will cross again soon. The Magnificent
Seven from Geordie Land, Colin, Alan, Mark, Angus, Davey, Lanky
and Big Mark, have now whittled down from the
Magnificent Seven, to the Famous Five, Then the Fantastic Four,
to The Dynamic Duo to sadly by the time you read this
The Invisible Man. Let's wait for the annual
Thailand Pilgrimage next year. It was great
whilst it lasted lads, and we still have enough Geordie's
here to keep the Flag Flying in Young Steve, RayC, and
Derek Hunter.
This weekend will definitely be devoted to Rugby
(with Kim hoping to come off the bottom of
the Eoin Quirke Prediction League). Whilst
Sunday night will belong to Football
with what used to be called the League Cup
on the Television. Please look up our Sports Page
for full details and times of all televised sports.
Don't forget our Set Menu now changes regularly
so any suggestions you have for the menu will gladly be welcomed,
(as long as Charlie and Matt from Asia/West
can supply it). Of course this week it's a double change with
the Weekly Menu changing and the Monthly Menu.
Although I don't expect there to be too many changes to the
Monthly Menu this time, short month February.
