Wonderful
Times
Lots of good things going
on this week, and many good memories from last week. Ian
(Lady Di) Harrington our Executive, Deputy, Assistant, Trainee,
Junior, Manager, has had to double up on his duties
this week, as our Roving Ambassador Mark Stubbs
has been away roving. Nice to have our boxing expert Sid
Silk in the bar although he was very unimpressed by
the Heavyweight Championship Fight last weekend
(Sid during his own professional career he
assures me would of mullered both these blokes at the same time.
Rick, Harpic, Jake, Paige, and Abbi, have been
dashing about as ever. The Bryant's are organizing
another soft ball game (why they call it soft ball I have no
idea, it's like trying to catch a very large rock, and when
it hits you on the leg.........well, then it definitely is not
a soft ball). But meet up at Jameson's at about
12.30 for a bit of team tactics, and then again
up to Hoseshoe Point for about 2.30
for picking of the teams and the game itself. There
is a map of how to get to Horseshoe Point on
the Pattaya Panthers
page at the side of this page. Everybody is welcome, young,
old, girls, boys, even Fat Old Landlords.
Radio Disc Jockey for Wave 88 Radio Paul Jackson receives
his Certificates of Appreciation for compeering the Jesters
Party Night at Jameson's The Irish Pub, Pattaya for the last
three years, 2005, 2006, 2007. It's not that the certificates
have not been ready. It's only because although Paul is one
of the best Radio Disc Jockey's around, somehow his memory tends
to let him down when leaving Jameson's. This time Fat Landlord
Kim Fletcher gave him his Certificates of Appreciation when
he arrived
Always smilin' always building Jameson's own Bob the Builder.
The Young Family
Everywhere you look there is a Quirke. Fantastic shirt modelled
by Eoin Quirke, I think it is four shirts in one, no maybe 5
Three beautiful girls in a row Moo (Pornthip)
Manageress of Jameson's with Ice and Tai Kennedy
Ice Kennedy tells Dad John Kennedy
not to drink so much, which seems a little unfair as it is John
(J.K) Kennedy's 11th Birthday today 29th February
The complete Bob the Builder set
James, Stuart, Sophie and Moo Young
On
a sporting note Denis and Lek who have their
own Laundry business, just down the Soi from
Jameson's, (Denis and Lek's Laundry
are now the official laundry service, for The Pattaya
Panthers and Panties, and The Pattaya City Football team.
Many good people at the bar, Sam Peebles, Brian Abbott,
Paul and David Dobbs, T-Shirt Shaun, the complete set
of Bob the Builder in the Young Family, Paul Strachan
the sexiest man in Pattaya, The Franklins all,
even a nice visit from Sean, Simon and Debbie, Richard
and Maggie Waller who came in on Friday
to sort out the definitive new Jameson's wine
list, and then proceeded to drink Jameson's present
stock dry with a little help from a few others I will admit, the
poor old Fat Landlord Kim Fletcher nearly collapsed.
The other good news is that Ron Keeley has joined
the World of Wines, so hence forth Ron
will have a name change to Wow, so it will be
Wow and Weaw Keeley. More of this as we find
out, but a quick look at The World of Wines website
should soon tell everybody that Ron has joined.
Jimmy Mike, has been in to watch the cricket
mostly with his head in his hands, good job he is not the England
wicket keeper he would drop it. Jimmy Howard, The Payne's
all, Rich Wibrow, Ben, Terry Schofield of 'No Fixed Abode', Ian,
Geordies Darren and Chris, Derek (who The Landlord
had been calling David for about 6 months), Lewis
(Woody) Underwood on Jesters Business, Tony Malhotra, B.J and
Noi, Bob, Rony Fineman (Mr. Nova), keeping our stocks
of Cranberry juice turning over. Thanks to Colin Powell
for the set list from the latest Ian Hunter Concert.
The wonderful Geoff Evans, who should be given
some sort of medal from the bottled Heineken
people, Ray Matti and Curly Wurly are still up
on the lakes, and who can blame them. Graham and Jay
are back from honeymoon, but are trying to catch up with what
they left behind, (we might get to see the wedding photos one
day!). Young Paul and Young Steve are normally
athletically keeping part of the bar propped up. Good to see Paul
Jackson, and Gavin from Flannigan's. Linus has been using
his local as a well local really. Johny Live
has been dashing between Bangkok and Jameson's.
Spoke to Bangkok, Woody during the week he was
well impressed by the Jameson's in Bangkok.
Please remember to put a date in your diary for the Jesters
Charity Drive 2008 main events the Fair
itself on Sunday 14th September at the Diana Driving Range
and Resort followed the next Saturday 20th September
by the Jesters Party Night at good old Jameson's
or more details look up our weekly updated Jesters Care4Kids
Charity Drive on this page.
Have a wonderful week everybody, Kim.

Subject: Aberdeen gig...
Well, it was
absolutely fantastic, in my opinion. The venue itself
was the most unusual that I have been to in that I was actually
sitting at a table only a few feet away from the band while
they
played. Sitting down ? At an IH gig ? And yet, it was just
great........
The Tunnels
in Aberdeen is a very intimate gig - and there were not that
many
people there at all. Maybe 100, although I didn't do a head
count !!
1. where do
you all come from

The gig
itself was great. The sound was really good and Ian's voice
had a great quality to it. Backing vocals from Steve and James
were
also great. For my part it was just great to hear some of the
above
songs played live again.
Col.
Cheers,
