A lovely
week we have just had taking January out in
style with Landlord Kim Fletcher of Jameson's
quite over whelmed. Lots of wonderful folk around which always
helps our Football Captain Brian Abbott has
been holding Nova Table together, and has also
offered to lend Landlord Kim Fletcher a wonderful
leather coat when he goes to England in October.
Landlord Kim Fletcher is going to go to England
in October to see his Mum
(It just happens to coincide with the Mott The Hoople
reunion gigs) and no matter how cold it is, with Brian
fantastic coat that will not be a problem. Sam Peebles,
Ray and Curly Wurly Matti, Malcolm (The Root of All Evil) Clare,
Ian (Lady Di) Harrington, Mike from Hong Kong, Sid and Sue Silk,
Eoin and Shelley Quirke, The Font of All Knowledge Graham Macdonald,
Geoff Evans, the full Youth Policy Young Steve, Young Paul,
Derek, Colin and dog, Dennis and Lek, Rob and Wit, Big Dave
Beckett, Dai Coe has sadly gone back to the desert
but we should see him again in March, My Jimmy Butler,
Ian, Chicken Nick, Graham Woo, Ashley. George and Fair Again,
Richard and Maggie Waller Richard (The Defense) and Ali Greening,
Hello to Dez Halls. Jimmy Howard, John, Tai and Ice Kennedy,

Lot's of Football this weekend for everyone
to enjoy on the Jameson's big screen and the
many screens round the bar. The Reading Football Club
Supporters Society had a bit of a rough time last week.
They lost to some other team, and could not be found to be playing
in the F.A. Cup, obviously a cunning plot by
Young Steve, probably concocted by Peter
Bevis, and it looks like Stephen Hunt
is going to go walk about.
This week sees the first Jesters Charity Drive Meeting
for 2009. Here we go again guys get ready to bid for
all your favorite items on the Auction site
which we will hopefully be up and running by then. Start stock
piling your old books as well for our Used Book Stall
which will be at the Jesters Care4kids Charity
Drive Fair at the Diana Driving Range and Resort on Sunday 13th
September 2009 followed by The Party Night
at Jameson's with the culmination of the Auction

If you here some strange
sounds in Jameson's over the next couple of
months it will just be Mottman Colin Powell or Landlord

in Jameson's that will probably be The
Scourge Mark Taylor.
Always nice to hear from folk, Linus's jokes
don't get any better. A big Jameson's style
Hello to Tony and Iris Ritchie, Lisa Lurve,
and everybody else that are friends of Landlord Kim
Fletcher's on Facebook. (That number of people does
not include Sam Peebles for some reason. I
bet Carole would join up). Must say this Facebook
thing is a good laugh.
Great Tuesday night in Jameson's plenty of
action, with the Geordie Boys including, Lanky,
Davey and my mate Colin Powell the Mottman. Did I tell
you we are going to see Mott the Hoople at the Hammersmith
Odeon in October? The Scourge was
missing though, such a nice lad took one of the staff to the
pictures. Joy and Happiness for the Reading Football
Club Supporters Society Pattaya Division North, as
the mighty Hoops gave those Wolves
a thrashing. Well done to Steve, Pete, and all the other
Good Guys. World of Wine Champagne flowed across the
bar courtesy of George and Fair Again. Good
to see Glyn and John Davies, yet again Nova
Table put the world to rights.
Now here is the plan for Colin Powell and the Geordie
Boys for the next 48 hours out for a refreshing walk
Wednesday morning repair back to Jameson's
to partake of the scrummy Jameson's Free Buffet,
then a couple of hours sleep (The Scourge will
probably need a member of staff to tuck him in), then up to
watch the Newcastlegame,
kicking off at 3.00 a.m., then with victory assured,
they will meet up with Wanchai at 5.30 a.m.
for a full days deep sea fishing. Then laden down with their
catch, back to Jameson's to feast on their
trophy fish. I'll keep you informed next week. Great idea plans.

As I live and breathe Sid and Sue Silk. Sid one of the best
known Middleweight boxers of his time, 34 Fights 34 Knock Outs.
Sid retired with an unbleshmished record. He simply got tired
of getting knocked out. Sid (Man of Steel) Silk has gone onto
being one of the world's leading Stephen Leather Authority's
and the President of the Stephen Leather Fan Club. Sid is at
the moment ready Stephen's latest book Live Fire, whilst Sam
Peebles and Brian Abbott have also been out and bought Bookazine
out of Stephen leather books
