There are
also of course loads of other ways of helping us in our Jesters
Care4Kids Charity Drive. Volunteering to help, selling
Raffle Tickets, Bidding on our Auction which you can click onto
on the side of this page (the one on your left hand side as
your looking at the page). Just having a look at the
Auction site is good fun, but it's even more fun bidding
onto it. Or any help is gratefully received, there are plenty
of brochures at the Tahitian Queen, and Jameson's
for you to help yourself to, or there are bumper stickers for
your car or very cool Jesters Care4Kids T-Shirts
for sale in Tahitian Queen and Jameson's.
Now there are a couple of other ways you can help us as well
as ever the Used Book Stalland
Knick Knacks will be for sale at the Jameson's
Stall run by Judi McNamara, now unfortunately,
last year another charity wanted all the books we had left over
from the stall when the Fair was over we gladly
gave them over, but now find ourselves with a lack of books
ourselves. So if any kindly folks have some old books or such
like lying on their shelves that they have no need of Please
Please Please bring them into us and we can sell them to raise
money for then children. The collection points are at Tahitian
Queen, on Beach Road in between Soi 12 ands 13. Tropical Bert's,
at the top of Soi Six, Jameson's or the Pattaya Mail office.
If you live in Bangkok, Tim
would be grateful for any books handed into him or Matt
or Peter in Jools Sukhumvit Soi 4. There is also The
White Elephant Stall being run by Ingrid which as a
White Elephant Stall implies sells anything, so Ingrid
would be grateful for anything you don't want. All
money goes to charity none of it is wasted. For more information,
please look up our website at www.care4kids.info.
We have also been kindly donated 6 computers, all in fine working
order. So if you are thinking of buying a new computer, please
come and check ours out first.
On Friday night The Pattaya, Sports Club Golf Society, and The
Pattaya Players Drama Committee had a combined get together
at Jameson's. It was as you can see one of the Most Amazing
Nights that Jameson's has ever seen.
A Very Big Thank you to both groups of wonderful people
It's like 'Little House on The Prairie' on Friday's in Jameson's

Well done Mottman'.
This weekend holds in
store for us more sporting excitement with the Continuation
of the Ashes Test match between England and Australia,
with play beginning at 5.00 p.m. every day.
Then at 10.00 p.m. another Titanic clash between South
Africa and New Zealand in the Tri-Nations Rugby Tournament.
A game last week I thought could of gone either way. But you
can put everything this time on the Mighty All Blacks
coming out all guns blazing at the beginning of the game.
Sorry to have missed Posh Peter this week always
a pleasure to see him, but a cold laid me a bit low at the beginning
of the week. Simon Quigley achieved all he
wanted to do in Jameson's early doors this
week. I also missed the softball which was a shame, but apparently
everybody had a good time as ever. Chicken Nick
has been flapping around with the rest of The Youth
Policy. Bjorn has been misbehaving
himself enormously, with help from Lola. Bob Davis
has also been misbehaving, but really does not need any help
in that particular department. But he is still being a
very good Manager for the Unofficial Jesters Care4Kids Committee,
(and a very generous one to boot). Johny Live
is still whizzing about. Deborah Lightley added
a lot of glamour to Saturday night as ever.
Have a good week, see you at the bar, Kim.
'A fantastic photo taken of Alan Shearer with a Newcastle
strip Shirt signed by him to
the Jesters Care4Kids Charity Drive 2009. Well Done RayC'.
Captain Steve (Jesters Care4Kids) Ponter and Ning
give Kim the most superb watch he has ever owned
for his Birthday. Once he has gone through the manual the might
have a clue how to work it.
The most important features were though, a nice big face and
hands so he might have some chance of reading it, and Joy of
Joys it glows in the dark
Tracy Fletcher relaxes in the sports room

Captain Steve Ponter would like to take this moment to remind
you all about the upcoming Jesters Care4Kids Charity Drive 2009.
The Big Fair will be at Diana Driving Range on Saturday September
13th. Now if you would like to help us in this event the best
way is to turn up. It's fabulous day out. Games, and fun for
there kids. Loads of Stalls for people to look round, and loads
of Alcoholic Beverage Stops along the way to stop you getting
a thirst. Great Live Bands in fact all the fun of the Fair.
Doors open at 10.00 o'clock in the morning so get
there early to avoid disappointment
The sports room is packed led by Jimmy Howard and Mickey Price

Kim Fletcher and Jameson's thoughts
turn to the Jesters Care4Kids Charity Drive 2009
The Jesters Care4Kids Charity
Drive is coming up very quickly. Let me just remind you of the
dates for the main events on Sunday 13th September 2009 is the
Jesters Care4Kids Charity Fair at the Diana Driving Range and
Resort, which this year looks like it is going to be even bigger
and better this year than last (if that is possible). Kevin Mitch
once again stepping into the breach, and doing all the organization
in his usual brilliant military precision style. Now whilst talking
about the Fair can I also remind everybody that Jameson's amongst
other things, has a Used Book Stall at the Fair run by Judi McNamara.
The Used Book Stall is always great fun and also raises a nice
lot of money for the kids. It is simple logic. (A) You kindly
donate to us all your old used books, which can be dropped off
at Jameson's or TQ any time, the earlier the better so we can
get them sorted. (B) You come to the Fair, and then buy a lot
of good books at a cheap price, come early for the best selection.
(C) We give all the money we raise to Kevin who hands it on to
the Care4Kids Charity Drive. Easy.
The next event after the Fair is the Jesters Care4Kids Charity
Party Night at Jameson's on Saturday 19th September 2009 which
will feature Paul Jackson as our compeer, Music from Mike Gerrard,
Rick and Harpic Bryant, and to bring us all to a Rockin' close
Pop's Pattaya All Stars and assorted guests. On that night there
will also be the arrival of Eric and Robert from their marathon
Charity Bike Ride always an amazing feat of endurance, the climax
to the Raffle and the fantastic Jesters Care4Kids Charity Auction.
The Auction Site is up and running, with lots of good things up
there already, all you have to do is click on the link on the
left hand side of this page and you will be whisked into Ron Keeley
of World of Wine Auction Site, there is plenty to look at and
you might even fancy putting a bid in yourself. Plenty already
have.
There are plenty of ways of helping the Jesters Care4Kids Charity
Drive 2009, Obviously by coming to the Fair, and the Party Night,
making bids on the Auction Site, buying Raffle Tickets, buying
T-Shirts, taking a Bumper Sticker for your car, taking and reading
one of our brochures and showing them to other people (all available
at Jameson's or TQ). If you would like to know some more right
now please click on the link on the right hand side of the page
for the Jesters Care4Kids and you will go on a journey to see
all about us the website. It is regularly updated and is run by
our Chairman, Lewis (Woody) Underwood, and our Webmaster David
Smith, a very good Charity, run by some wonderful people, to help
those less fortunate than others.
