The
Six Nations Begins
As Graham
and Jay MacDonald head off on honeymoon, to cover up
that gap in our social lives The Six Nations Rugby Tournament
starts. Good Luck in watching that in Egypt, Graham.
The full schedule is printed here in the diary, and whilst preference
will be given to all the rugby games, we will still be able to
find a screen or two for those wishing to watch other sports.
Although Mike Watkins will be making the library
area of the pub a little piece of Wales at about 11.30
on Saturday night.
Kevin Fisher brought a bunch of mates to have a pre Birthday
bash at Jameson's on Steak Night, and a very Happy Birthday
to you Kevin from all of us at Jameson's
Happy Birthday Kid
Come what may the Jameson's staff have always got a smile
on their faces, which is quite an achievement considering they
work for the big Fat Landlord
The
Pattaya Panthers will be playing the Bangkok
Japanese Rugby team at Horseshoe Point on Sunday
afternoon with kick off at 2.30 for
those of you who want to see a bit of live action. Horseshoe
Point is the perfect setting to go and watch some sport,
and don't forget there are plenty of places within Horseshoe
Point to buy a beer or grab something to eat. Take your
swimming gear along as well if you want for a dip in the pool
after the game. The Pattaya Panthers and Panties will
be hosting the boys from the Bangkok Japanese on Saturday
night at Jameson's. So anybody who fancies knowing a
little bit more about rugby in Pattaya. Saturday
night is definitely the night to be in Jameson's.
Tuesday was a notebook day in the Landlord's
year as he took the day off to lark around with Mark Woodroffe
"Bangkok Woody'' we had an excellent lunch at Bruno's,
it really is a wonderful place to have your lunch, the planned
trip around the haunts of Pattaya never materialized,
as after lunch we popped back into Jameson's
and then spent the rest of the day in the big comfy chairs in
the library area catching up on old times until eventually Kid
came to our rescue and took us both to our homes. Mark
Stubbs the Jameson's Ambassador was left in charge of
Nova Table for the night. It is also great to
have the wonderful Geoff Evans living back in
Pattaya, long may it continue. Sam Peebles
gathered all the boys around for a fabulous weekend, Darren
of the Lazi Pig brought all the Boro
supporters into watch a Boro Victory, I could
faintly here Boro, Steve from Australia and Paul Dobbs
cheering in the distance.
John with the very famous Sid Silk! Famous for his pugilist
skills 29 professional fights every one a knock out, Sid just
got fed up with being knocked out and finished that branch of
his career, now a man of steel, and also Jameson's leading expert
on Stephen Leather and other literary mater's. Sid told everyone
that Frederick Forsyth's new book "The Afghan'' is a good
read, and by Jove he is right. But we are all still waiting
for Stephen's new book 'The Deadmen'
The ever smiling Bjorn with the Young family and the Big
Fat landlord checking to see if anyone has sent him a message
as he sits alone at Nova Table
Rock 'n' Roll. The Big Fat Landlord tries very hard to strike
a pose which Rick pulls off with nonchalant ease
Doesn't Harpic look fabulous / Don't know who the bloke with
her is
Bob The Builder. Stuart Young leaps to
attention even when he is sitting down
Peter Mack and friends put their heads together
Sam, Brian Abbott and the boys mull their thoughts over a table
full of drinks
It's like having a drink with Sonny and Cher
Steve Ball takes control of Nova Table. Always a pleasure to
have Steve in the bar
You
will notice that we now have a separate link on the side of the
website pages that take you directly to the Jesters Care
for Kids Auction list which we have started taking bids
for the items already up, this is a list that you have to continuously
check out, as it will be updated with new items as we get them,
I know that Woody has more items to give to Ron
as we speak. Do not forget to keep a note in your diary
for the upcoming Jesters Charity Drive with the
Fair being held at The Diana Driving Range and
Resort on Sunday 14th September and the Party Night with it's
Bands, Raffles, and Auctions at Jameson's on Saturday September
20th. Derek will be opening his brilliant new bar “Club
Blu” on Friday night. Derek is
a diamond bloke and the bar will be a diamond too. See you at
the bar, Kim.
Derek Hunter, Moo, & Siriluck
Sam has just pointed out "Your not Paul Dobbs, Your
David Dobbs’’
The Jameson's Youth Team Steve and Paul listen to Keith
Geoff Evan's at the table. Geoff is always able to make
people laugh, but always gets in first with a funny T-Shirt
Ken and Jackie. Nice to have Ken back to his proper drinking
weight
Some people just love it when the cartoons are on the Telly
Helen has to drink an El Diablo. And it's goodnight to Helen
and Dean we will see you soon
Nova Table with Joe Grunwell, Simon Philbrook, and The Font
of All Knowledge, Graham MacDonald
Jameson's turned into 'The Lazi Pig' on Saturday night as
all the Boro Boys led by Darren turned up to watch the game
Joe Grunwell with the new Nibbles menu
The big Fat Landlord puts one over on Simon Philbrook, who
is definitely not balding
Kim and Woody had a day out, a lovely lunch at Bruno's and
then back to Jameson's to natters away the night. I think it
is the first time that the Landlord has spent the night in the
Library area, and jolly nice it is too
The World of Wines invite the Jesters Committee to join
in a wine tasting at Jameson’s on their first meeting
on Wednesday 30th January
