Fabulous
week for Landlord Kim Fletcher at Jameson's
What a great
week, lots going on with a fabulous weekend, and lots of fun
on other nights. Wednesday night was a really
good night with a bit of Nosh put on for the regulars by Jameson's,
and everybody else did the rest. Colin Powell
as usual leading the charge for Landlord Kim Fletcher
with his able assistant and best man Malcolm Clare The
Root of All Evil stood by his side.
Next week on Monday 9th February is a momentous
occasion as it is The Root of All Evil's Birthday.
Malcolm Clare turns another year. So obviously
a huge Jamboree party for The Root, expect
anybody and everybody to be there, and anything and everything
to happen. There are lots of rules to go with The Root's
Birthday, but unfortunately Kim Fletcher Landlord
of the Jameson's Parrish is not privy to the utmost
privy thoughts of The Root of All Evil, so
it's to luck for all of us. No doubt there will be photographic
evidence of these events in next week's diary. The other big
event next week is the Charity Rock 'n' Roll gig
being held at Nirvana, for full details please
look at the poster on this page. 'The Last Rock 'n'
Roll Band' who headline the concert are our old Muckers
Casino Steel and Honest John Plain. So this should
be a day to remember in the annals of Pattaya Rock 'n'
Roll.
Of course the main thing that nobody can shut the Landlord
Kim Fletcher about at the moment is his impending trip
to England in September to see his beloved
Mum. This will be the first time the
Landlord has gone back to the United Kingdom
in 24 years, I think a few winter woolies are in order.
Captain of Jameson's Football has already stepped
forward with a magnificent leather coat to keep him warm. The
trip also just happens to coincide with 3 reformation gigs for
Landlord Kim Fletcher's favorite Rock
'n 'Roll band Mott The Hoople at the
Hammersmith Odeon.
Big Dave Hoyle saved all his Calssic Rocks over 2008 and
came down to give them to Kim Fletcher at Jameson's The Irish
Pub Pattaya. Classic Rock Magazines old and new are available
for rock culture consumption at Jameson's for reading over the
Full Irish Breakfast for Baht 150 or the Light Breakfast at
Baht 65.

Steve smile instead the usual result another
0-0 draw.

but more of this later.

Subject: Re: BASTARD at Rock Pub THIS FRIDAY
Kim,
Thanks for that - will do in future as soon as we know we're not
going to cancel. We are booked for the first Friday of every month
but sometimes Keith gets called away to do gigs for Hewlett-Packard
or some such club.
The reason I send the flyer out in the same week is because (a)
my hero Big Jeff of Tokyo Joe's does the same, and (b) alzheimer's
is taking its toll among our venerable fans.
By the way, I've finally achieved
a lifetime ambition - I'm singing a Captain Beefheart song down
here. If you're getting fed up with the excessive number of customers
in your pub and would like a rest, gizza bell, and I'll come down
to sing Trout Mask in its entirety. .
All the breast, mate,
P Bastard
