Bonfire Night Bonfire Night came early this year with loads of fireworks at Jameson's over the week. The highlight of which being RayC's part on Sunday with us all tucking into the Keg of Heineken that RayC and his team had won at Paul Wilkinson's Golf Tournament. What a do. A keg seems to go a long way. There was the traditional changing of the barrel to see how far it would go, and started at 1.30 p.m. the barrel did not run out until %.00 p.m. even though there were some pretty heavy drinkers round the table, and beyond, The Brothers Dobbs, Steve and Billy Page, RayC himself, Dez, Big Jim, Alan, Johny Live, Paul Jackson, The Fat Landlord, Brian Abbott, Derek and Sa McTighe, Dai and Porn Coe, all blasting away at the barrel, The Pub itself laid on some food to try and slow the drinking down, but all that seemed to do was speed the drinking up.

Sunday was then continued by the Jameson's Football Team arriving back from their trip to Bangkok where they had come away with a close 1-2 defeat, but heads were held high as they came back for their customary Carvery and tactical talk on what could of been. Great Bunch of Lads. Sunday also sadly saw the last of Iain Corness's Formula One Grand Prix's for this year. But a very convivial Sunday night it was all told, and the next Grand Prix Season is never far away. This Saturday sees a return to Rugby (as one page finishes another opens up). The Rugby Union game between England and Australia starts at 9.00 p.m. This will be shown on the Giant Big Screen in Jameson's Sports Room with the English Soundtrack. All other sports will be catered for on the other screens around the bar to keep people in touch with what is going on. Had a very nice e-mail this week from Dennis Collard from the Unquenchables Rugby Team, who are all now back in Australia. Yet another tour of South/East Asia successfully completed. Now we are in November it is nice to say that The Root of All Evil Malcolm Clare will be back this month. Have a good week, Kim.
