We
are open for the best pub food in Pattaya
Bit of a mixed bag this week, we found
out we have to shut down for all alcohol from Friday
6.00 p.m. night on 14th December until Monday morning 17th December,
then again on Saturday 22nd from 6.00
p.m. until Monday morning, Christmas Eve 24th December.
This means no boozing in Jameson’s
on any of these days. Due to the fact that it is Moo’s
name on the license and I would much rather see her in the office than
in chokee for the next six months.
Booze
ban till Monday for advance voting
No alcohol will be on sale or served at any event
across the country from 6pm today until midnight on Sunday as voters
cast advance ballots this weekend for the general election.
Bar owners have been warned it will be enforced.
The same strict regulation will be applied next week, from 6pm on Dec
22 to midnight the next day, polling day.
The ban is to prevent canvassers entertaining voters at boozy parties
before they go off to cast their votes.
Violators risk a fine of up to 10,000 baht or a maximum of six months
in jail, under the election law.
Pol Gen Vichien Potphosri said full security will be in place. Advance
voting is tomorrow and Sunday.
About 2.8 million people have applied to cast advance votes.

still being taken, but apart from the fact that we are definitely open
on Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day,
the rest of our program is very much up in the air, so really I cannot
tell you about what I am not sure of.
We have a few daytime bookings left for Christmas
Day, and some for Christmas
evening. Please make sure to make your booking with the Jameson’s
Manager Wanchai, so you can select your seat, and Wanchai
can make sure all your requirements are taken care of. New Year’s Eve at Jameson’s
will be the same as it has been for the last two years, with a couples
night with no raised prices just a nice night away from all the craziness
of the rest of Pattaya.
See you at the bar, Kim.
