Coombes's and Crouch's, Patrick (the flying frog) and all of the Hash House Harriers, (next on-in for the runners is on Monday 15th January), of course Malcolm Clare the Root of All Evil who has made many a memorable night disappear. My mate Geoff Evans, John Hagan for giving this website a ranking system and keeping us on our toes, no more pictures diaries these days. Ron, Weaw and James Keeley, Kimo and Nid Price, Jeremy Quinn, Nial, John Kennedy won a Mike Axford Golf Calendar in this years Jinger Bens tournament Thanks Mike. Kenneth Sly, Craig Bertram, Sadistic Robert, Richard and Maggie Waller for helping us out with the Vino, Mark Bolam for the Jazz, Trevor of Hawkwind fame and Mark of Led Zeppelin fame. Stephen Leather for not killing Kim Fletcher off this year although he was himself fictional killed off by our own Pattaya Mail reviewer Lang Reed, Nova Lodge Big David who came to visit for Christmas, Ian and Pat Dickson who we all miss very much. Gin and tonic Peter Woolston who will be back with us shortly probably with new toys! Peter Mewes. It was great to see Phill Dunn last month although as usual the Landlord's memories of Phill are coloured by alcohol. Pop and The Pattaya All Star band especially for the great Acoustic Sunday afternoon’s. Uriah Heep for the concert of the year, although Mick Devonport with the Pattaya all Stars was pretty amazing too. Roger Parry, our resident Boxing expert Sid Silk, and the lovely Sue. Sid still has an unblemished boxing record of 29 fights 29 ko's. Stuart Daly and the little chocolate soldiers mum and dad Jed and Linda, Alex and Nit Wood supporting the England rugby team through thick and thin and this year it has been really really thin.

Christmas Eve saw good drinks with Stuart Daly Straff, and Dave Jason and Ron, Johnnie Live, the return of Jason (sadly for all of us Jenny will not arrive until January, Quigley's all Simon, Nin, and Anne, Shelley led the Carol singing with some distinguished piano playing, whilst a lot of us found out we could not sing. The Fineman's turned up in all their glory with Clayton and Ronnie, Motorbike Shaun turned up to sink a few with Peter and his mum, checking out the Christmas Buffet. Stuart, Moo, and Sophie and James all add to the fun with of course Dennis, and Lek, Rob.
What remains of the Reading Football Club, sang a brief song to inspire the team against the mighty Chelsea. We could not thing of a song to inspire the England cricket team.
The New Year's Eve party preparations are well under way, there will be a full Carvery to bring us into the New Year, a good old rave up at midnight with the 'Okey kokey' Aul Ang Scign' etc poppers and string, free Champagne at midnight, and you can sit outside and watch the fireworks display if you wish. But it is a quieter way to bring in the New Year than being downtown. Last Year we had a similar theme and we had a wonderful time, as anyone that was there will tell you. The Root of All Evil's family The Clare's were all there, and they will tell you!
Great to see Champagne Peter walk through the door for a Christmas drink
Happy Christmas to Chef Flemming, and New Year best wishes to all from Richard and Gam Holt.

Sam Peebles again ruled the sports room area over Christmas Day, giving out happy vibes all around the bar. Motorbike Shaun was in his element as he always is with a great big smile on his face Graham Emmerson's table were a hoot all day long with the Greens entire family and Mosquito Bill squeezed in the middle Roger Mart's table made good use of the Christmas Carvery, as did Nigel Morgan's Leanne agreed with the Landlord on one table for the kids and one for the bigger kids Mike Woodward and family had a good time as did the Henderson's, Bowlings, and Knaggs great to see Colin again and Thanks for the hat. Santa certainly did a good job, amazing how many places he can be at the same time Denis, Hilary, Cyril and May had a marvelous time sitting next to their country's Rugby Union Captain Tim Jones, Nigel Burt, the wonderful Ken and Jacqueline. Jack and Mike. Plus an early visit from Neil Sandilands, and a late one from Ian (Lady Di) Harrington, Bill, Matt, Negel, Kev, Jimmy and a special Happy New Year to Pattaya's well respected Peter Malhotra. Enough from me. Happy New Year everybody. Kim, Rony, and Moo.
