(Dates to put in your diary Sunday 14th September the Fair at the Diana Driving Range and Resort, followed by the Party Night at Jameson's, on Saturday 20th September, which will see the conclusion of the grand raffle and this years fantastic auction, which has been recently updated as you can see by the links at the side of this page. Don't forget either that Jameson's will be doing their popular annual bookstall at the fair, so if any of you are hoarding unwanted books at home, please bring them into Jameson's so we can sell them at the fair, it is a fantastic way of making money, you give us the books, people buy them, and we give the money to the Charity Drive) joins the table. Simon Edmonds gets on the phone to brighten up his conversation for the evening, apparently ringing Lars for the latest gossip was more interesting then talking round the table (Fair point!) And now to the future this weekend is huge. Rick Bryant's 49th Birthday weekend bash, on Saturday 10th May at about 10.00 p.m. we will be having Pop's Pattaya All Stars playing a set of Rock 'n' Roll with many surprise guest artists. Then on Sunday we have a complete day for you. Starting at 2.00 p.m. There will be some acoustic sets of music from Pop and a whole bunch of Pattaya All Stars, two shows by a pair of magicians, a free kids buffet in the library area with cartoons, colouring competitions, balloons, all the kids will be looked after by the Jameson's staff, led by a now fully practised Lola. Then at 6.30 p.m. Iain Corness takes over to guide us through the Formula One Grand Prix from Turkey, the big screen will be unfurled, and all the screens will be focused on the big race. Following this at 9.00 p.m. is the final games of the 2007/2008 Premier League Football Championships, when it will be crick in the neck time as we try and juggle all the different games between each different screens. The Reading Football Club, Supporters Society, Divisions North, South, East and West will all be out in force to cheer Steve's Boys on. It's out of Steve's hands now, but he has got to win to stand a chance. We will be keeping everything crossed for you Good Guy. So that is quite a bit of entertainment for you. Looking further into the future, 16th, 17th and 18th May sees, the Pattaya Players put on their 3 nights of one act plays in one performance, with tickets on sale in Jameson's for all the details of this please look up our events and promotions link at the side of the page. Saturday 17th of May with kick off at 9.00 p.m. is the F.A Cup Final between Portsmouth and Cardiff which should be a wonderful occasion with Shelley Quirke preparing to deck the bar out in Portsmouth Blue, although I think we will leave the library area Red for the Cardiff Team.
